here we have my friends mk1 golf gti its an 83 y reg taxed till end of april and mot'd till end of june

he selling it as he already has a mk2 20vt and now a mk3 gti as his daily so this needs a new home sadly after just over 2 years of ownership

we put the 2.0 engine in the car around a year ago 6 months ago it had a good mk2 16v gearbox and new 16v clutch fitted aswell the engine needs its tappets sorting as they are a little noisey this is a very quick car

it has been lowered with shocks and springs and handles really well its like a go kart

all four tyres are fine so are the alloys 13" bbs g40 wheels

the interior has been retrimmed at some stage with red centres and leatherette bolsters

the car would be a fantastic project as its all taxed and tested and drives fine
